Hey, I’m Callie Johnson Photography. I’m a maternity photographer based in Raleigh, NC.

I’ve always been the person with a camera in my hand. Growing up, I was constantly taking photos of my friends, my family, vacations, random afternoons, and all the little in-between moments that didn’t feel like a big deal at the time but mean everything now.

I think that’s why I care so much about photos. Time moves so fast, and some seasons of life feel like they’re gone before you can even fully take them in. Pregnancy is one of those seasons. It can feel emotional, uncomfortable, beautiful, overwhelming, exciting, and completely surreal all at once.

That’s what I love about maternity photography. It’s not just about documenting what you looked like while you were pregnant. It’s about remembering what this season felt like before everything changed in the best way.

My approach is calm, natural, and honest. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I never want your photos to feel stiff or overly posed. I want them to feel like you. Soft, real, emotional, and true to this chapter of your life.
